Wonder what others thoughts on this are. I often dive head first when it comes to most things and beer buying is no exception, why buy one when I can have six.

Occasionally I run across beer that I just don't like and while doing some cellar organization this past weekend and building some shelves for the cellar I realized I have a good solid case or more of beer I will never drink.

So I ask what do others do with beer that they probably won't drink?

Maybe it's something you can trade away.

If it's a lighter beer like Bell's Smitten I give them out to people who drink better than BMC but can't handle IPAs and Stouts. If it's something better I try and plan a bottle share.

You can always soak brats in it.

One man's trash is another man's come up...

Throw up some names of the beers.

Or give them away if you know someone that likes them or likes whatever style. And stop buying six packs of unknowns, mix six packs were invented for a reason.

You are likely just too sober. Drink a few you like, and the others tend to improve. It's psychological or something.

Use in base for cooking chili. Put it in after whatever meat is browned with the all the spices. Tomato can be added after the meat is tender. Done this will many kinds of beer and they all work well.

Drunk beer. My biggest problem is when people leave their BMC crap in my fridge. I swear I have a full shelf of stuff I will never drink just waiting for waiting for a game of beer pong or flip cup.

That's probably why my neighbors will drink anything.

Check into organizations like the local VFW or if you have a church with a men's club who may take the donation for a meeting/event. I've been known to get rid of beer I don't like by making up six packs for friends as gifts. Just because I don't care for that particular beer doesn't mean that somebody else may not love it. I've also gotten rid of beer by bringing them to large parties thrown by friends. They're usually happy to have the extra beer.
