    Carpool?

If not, I'll still probably go. And I'll just bring a whole nother ice chest full of beer...

Yep, heard this also. Word is they adopted the method of a nearby brewery for their bottling of barrel-aged brews.

I'd be willing to make the drive from Dallas. Do they limit the bottles per person or could I pick up a case or 2?

i picked up 2 cases last year. depends on how many people show up. and they had ananke for at least 2 months afterwards last year

the last release la muerta they sat everyone down at tables then took everyones order. I was there at 6am and didnt get my bottles till after 12 noon. was kinda pissed about that. so this year I will not be showing up as early. ,aybe 830 or 9am

The Ananke release is different then La Muerta based off of the popularity with the local crowd. Ananke is probably more popular with the BA crowd and thus garnishes more attention but La Muerta is more popular with the local non-BA crowd. So even with equal bottle counts one will sell out faster then the other.

Of course what do I know, San Antonioans(?) might be obsessed with sours now

They are also not going to be doing that again. I'm getting there early for the bottle share but not really for the line.

hopefully not. it really had my panties in a knot! Hopefully less corn flavor in this years batch as well. diacetyl is no ones friend. but only in some of the bottles.

Man, I hope I can make it out this year, or else I might have to have someone mule me some bottles. :slight_frown:

Bottle limit permitting, I can help you out.

I will be there with a few RS exclusives in hand.

That usually fades with time for most sours. When they are young there can be a corn finish. Also diacetyl is buttery not corn as far as I am aware

Let's not plan the bottle share until Scott gives his blessing. He is usually cool with it but I will email him to ask if its cool.
    Cheers!

La muerta was fun and I hope this is kind of like that. But I just realized that's day I graduate. :slight_frown: I have to find out what time.

Not sure about this one... the 2 bottles I got from the last release were horribly infected with wild yeast.
