Damn it working at a bar ill need to ensure Friday night and Saturday off.

 

Just heard from Scott, all is a go for a bottle share. See you guys early that morning. If I don't know you already, please say hi early. Not sure what shape I will be in as the day progresses! ;-)

 

I believe several people contacted Scott after that debacle and asked him not to do that again. Most of us waited for well over an our for our bottles and his staff was completely overwhelmed. I'm pretty sure they'll go back to doing a line for bottles like they have in the past, but we'll see.

 

yeah, I believe I might have been a little assy with the staff because I had not only driven since 4am but arrived at 6am to get a place then had to wait, my wife tells me it was closer to 1 before we got our bottles. Regardless the bottle share before hand is worth it just for that!!!!

700 bottles is quite a bit so they may do two rounds of buying (1 case to start and once everyone in line has that opportunity then have a round of open limit buying).

Any word on other bottles that might be ready around then? It was really nice to have that Hop F at the La Muerta release

 

Wait....They'd offer people in line to buy a whole case?!??!

 

yeah i bought 2 cases the first time, then went back afterwards for another. I worked saturdays from 2010 to the summer of 2012 missed all the beer releases from them and all the brewery openings in austin. I went overboard. but drank alot of them. the lamuerta release i only bought 6 of them. I will prolly buy a case of this years ananke as i drink them quite often. they havent limited in the past. will see.

They have a ton of Echolocator Hopplebock, so I bet there will still be lots of that.
