Anyone lucky enough to get seats to Saturday's breakfast? I was fortunate enough to make it onto the waiting list and got the call today saying we're in! Never been before but heard it's awesome. Looks like both KBS and CBS will be served...hopefully there will be some left over for any of you stout fest attendees planning to come in following the breakfast...
BTW, the Stout Fest lineup is insane!! However, think a few Porters snuck into the line up

I'll be there again this year, stoutfest lineup is a little weak so far, but I'm hoping they are just not announcing the goodies until Saturday.

Do you mean relative to last year, or just weak in general?
Really looking forward to KBS & CBS, Obviously, but these are some hard hitters too:
    Evil twin Imperial Biscotti Break
    Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy
    Hoppin’ Frog BORIS
    Allagash Bourbon Black 2011
    2010 De Molen SSS
    Haandbryggeriet Dark Force
    2011 Smuttynose Imperial Stout
    Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura

They indeed did but since they're awesome beers I think we can look the other way! They snuck black biscuit in the line up the first two years which was great too! I'll be sitting at the first bar seat is anyone wants to come say hi.

I got shitfaced the night before and slept right through the Founders Breakfast ticket sales. Definitely pissed at myself.

Trying to convince some friends to go on Saturday but it's also our buddies birthday party / bottle share that night locally so I'm not getting many takers. Might make a hungover trek out there on Sunday, worst case.

Hahaa! Oh man...did the same thing last year!! This year I literally called 150 times trying to get through....busy - busy - busy. Finally after the better part of an hour, got through to the waiting list. I don't think I've ever worked so hard for beer, lol! But think it was just to make up for last year's blunder.

Has there been an entry line in years past? Not sure if I've braved this particular crowd, but was hoping to swing by later in the day.

Last year it was crowded right at 12 but then the Founders Breakfast crowd left about an hour or so after that and it opened up a bit. But I also think NERAX was going on at the same time.

It looks like it'll be around 35-40 degrees tomorrow morning when us non-breakfast folks will be waiting in line for StoutFest. Honestly, can people with past experience give us a decent idea of when to get in line, and how long it took to get in once the doors opened? The good thing is that the rain will have passed and should be a nice sunny morning!!!

If you're in line at 11 am you will probably make it in right at 12 when the doors open. the Abbey has to keep track of how many they let in due to Fire Capacity but they allowed like 25-30 people in right at 12 (i was the last person they let in). Leaving another 15-20 in line that probably got in 20 minutes later.

I literally called over 1000 times between me and my girlfriend. Got the last 2 tickets. As a courtesy to those waiting in line (and to my wallet) I only plan to have one beer after the breakfast and then head out.

I did the redial shuffle again this year and got in for the first time in 3 years trying. Way psyched! Last year we got in line for Stoutfest about 10:30 and drooled against the windows at the deliciousness being served. This year we're inside for the Breakfast and will probably stay around for a while after. I'll be the other fat guy. No beard but a pony tail and a pretty wife who may look overwealmed by all the delicious rich food.

As for this year's line-up looking weak? I don't think so. Would I love to see Parabola on there again? Sure as shit! Other than that, there's more than plenty to get me in trouble for the afternoon. I've had Odin's Tipple before and it's simply AMAZING! What can you say about 2 different HF offerings? The Boris, Amager, Biscotti & Nekron look amazing. Tomorrow will be an awesome day
