Favorite beer LINGO?

    Beergasm? "Suck on a penny" (when describing the taste of some amber/red ales), "mullet" (hops in the front, malt in the back, or balanced beers in some way). I know, some of you will read those last two and go "wtf?" However, I'm all for describing beer in non-beer terms, if it helps people understand. I once read a wine review in which the sampler said the wine "tasted like socks."

    Driving a golf cart on Isla Mujeres off the Mexican coast on a sweltering hot day - sunburned, thirsty and no relief in sight when I saw a sign written in English, "Beer so cold it'll make you teeth hurt." Most beautiful phrase I've ever seen.

    Mouthfeel always gets me.

    For some reason I love the phrase "Bier vom Fass" (draft beer). I don't know what it is, but I love the way it sounds.
