I'm interested in the concept of beer trading, however I have a few questions:

Where do you go to find beers for trade?
How does the whole trading transaction work? (i.e. how do you know the other person will keep up his/her end)
Suggestions on shipping and costs involved?

What beers from Colorado are people looking for? I would love to get some beers from the Northwest and would like to see what people are interested in from my state.

    Thanks everyone!

Now that I have an idea on how it works, what do people enjoy from Colorado?

There are many states that don't get Avery, New Belgium, or Oskar Blues. Those are great locals you can trade.
Also, I may be wrong, but don't parts of CO get some Russian River stuff? People are almost always willing to trade for some RR beers, from Elder to Supplication and all stops in between.

Wow. That's great! That makes it MUCH easier for those of us that use phones for a good chunk of our browsing.
    Cheers!

I've got a buddy in CO and I send him Bells and Founders. He sends me Odell, Firestone walker, and Russian river beers mostly.

Careful, because it's not 100% accurate. Some of the beers distributed in MO are not listed.

It is created by BA users-- obviously they cannot live in every state... So if you have updated info, you should let them know!

Yep, makes it much easier in general. I'm surprised you missed the thread about it...I'm very grateful to the person that took the time to do that because while I appreciated nickD's spreadsheet, it was a pain in the ass to scroll through and keep track of where you were.

Also add dry dock to this list that one I believe doesn't even get distributed outside CO but I might be wrong

I think the best way to start your trading career is to simply start with a "FT: Locals, ISO: Your locals" type of post. Worked for me with my first couple of trades.

The map was made from Nick's spreadsheet, so both are only as accurate as the latest update.
