Had my first one this evening. Unsurprisingly, not bad at all. I really like the brews New Belgium puts out. Anyone else had it? What'd you think?

I've never been happy with NB. Most of their beers are meh and several of them are sub-meh. I've tried more than a dozen of them. They make a wide variety and are sold everywhere at a reasonable price in 6 packs. I'd like to like them, but I can't.

I will somewhat agree with you, as I don't think Fat Tire is all that. However, I really enjoy a few of their other beers, like Red Hoptober, Dig, 1554, and Trippel.

I just picked two bottles of this up today, I'm interested to hear others thoughts as well. But I loved their red hoptober, I need to retry their Rampant Ipa to get a better read on that one.

Rolle Bolle i had for the first time yesterday. It wasn't impressive but it wasn't bad either. And i like to hear them get some love, alot of what i see on here isn't great feedback. Im not saying their the best, but they do have great beers. Ranger and 1554 are SOME of my most frequently bought beers in the past few months.

My beer fridge always has some Trippel, 1554, and Red Hoptober in it. And usually their Abbey too.

Still waiting on Missouri distribution to catch up. Always last on everything. You should hear the reps talk too, I swear our country is backwards because the wrong people are doing the wrong jobs.

What until you try La Folie or Tart Lychee.. You'll change your perceptions quickly about New Belgium.

    Trust me on that.

Apparently you've never had La Folie, Eric's Ale, Le Terroir, Frambozen, Super IPA, Love, or the dozens of other world class brews they've made.

Oh well, you just keep on hating NBB, it just leaves more good stuff for the rest of us.

You just have to start with that kind of talk.

I loved it so much on tap for $3 a pint paired w/ Chelsea's Pizza in Eureka Springs
that I drove to Fayetteville & picked up a sixer on my way home.
I prefer it to last year's summer brew.

Dude, you'd better write a review on it to help out the score, cuz no one else seems to like it:

Someone has to keep the youngins' in check. Odds are, the brewers at New Belgium (especially Peter Broukaert) have been putting out great beer since before the guy I replied to was born. I'm not a fan of everything they make either, but saying "most of their beers are Meh" is just fucking ignorant.

You're picking a fight bud. He's entitled to his opinion. I think they make a few great beers, a few good, and a ton of gimmicky "meh" beers as well.

I didn't like the cinnamon in Tart Lychee, there's a special place in my heart (& cellar) for La Folie though.

What you tried Rampant? It's an awesome DIPA. Their Abbey is pretty solid too.

I was surprised the first time i tried one. I love how it starts with a cherry flavor up front, then quickly moves to a green apple/vinegar flavor, then finishes with a pineapple tartness. I'm usually not a fan of pasteurized beers either, but they scored big time with this one in my opinion. I dunno, there's lots of different beers out there for everybody. It's fun to argue about them though! Lol
