Fuck yeah, thanks for posting! FYI Founders has been available in Europe (very minimally) for a few years. Dist. in all 50 states has nothing to do with it. I am willing to bet that every single US breweries that are dist. in Europe don't distribute in all 50 states.

You'd be surprised as to the stuff available in Europe; Hoppin Frog, Jester King, Green Flash, Alesmith, just to name a few.

Stoked on Founders though, overall my favorite brewery in the US and this means we can finally sell it at my shop in Paris.

Please for the love of GOD expand to Washington state first, or even Oregon!!!!! Come on Founders! You can ship beer across the pond but can't ship to the west coast??

Founders has been available here in Brazil for over a year. Their IPA, Porter, Pale ale , Breakfast Stout, and Backwoods Bastard have been available in several stores for a while, although the price is almost triple the US price.

??? Not trying to kill your excitement, but how does distribution in UK equate to distribution in Paris, France?

Interesting choice of example. As I understand it Cantillon has largely prospered fantastically since and because the U.S. fell in love with their beers more than Europeans did. Apparently every European did and does get all they want, and it isn't enough to prevent the need to export.

Fine by me but I'm guessing some other people here may not agree with you and it's a bad example since from what I've heard you can get anything you want by going to the brewery this isn't true for Founders.

    Yeah...? So your point is...?

    Here lets turn the tables.

You get Cantillon in France...give me a break. Why should you want Founders also?

    Weird right?

The BAs of the UK should be very exited about this one. Founders is such an incredible brewery, and my personal favorite.

There is two ways of looking at this...

    1. Founders is expanding across the pond to the UK before expanding into all 50 states in the US. (Greed)

    2. Founders is expanding into a virtually untapped market of theirs with beer options that is easily acquirable to the US states that they currently distribute to in hopes of using that additional revenue generated back here in the states to increase production volumes of their less attainable offerings and opening up to new US markets that have not received their product in the past. (Smart business decision)

Of course I am saying this from a state that is currently on their distribution list so I raise my glass to all others that are not receiving their offerings in hopes that this will change in the future.

    Cheers!
