Wow this is really good and fresh! Almost like chewing on wet hops; I highly recommend chasing this beauty down if you love hops and great dipa's![IMG]

I'm actually surprised. It doesn't taste anything like it did on tap last year. Excellent. I'll drink the shit out of this.

Having a Rolle Bolle. It's not up to the standards of Snow Day or Red Hoptober, but it's certainly not bad. Very easy drinking.

I went into this thinking it maybe wasn't a good choice after the amazing KBS I just had...

But I was totally surprised that it follows KBS very well - like a nice chocolate palate cleanser.
I'm going to write this down - so I can do it again, if we ever get to fishing this year (fucking cold/snow!).

No doubt it's very good, but I wouldn't quite put it in the same class as hopslam or hoptimum....

Sour in the Rye. Delicious. I dont know if it was a good idea having two sours in a row, but screw it.

I was in the mood for something different. I think this will do the trick. I fell in love with this brew the first time I tried it. De Proef/HOTD Flanders Fred.

My wife is having a Victory at Sea. I just poured a little Old Rip Van Winkle 10 into it while she wasn't looking. I wonder if she'll notice.

There seems to be a lot of bottle variation with V@S (the 11/2013 best by date). I've had some that were vanilla-forward, others that were coffee-forward, and some that were charred and roasty. Anyone else get funny experiences like this?

Now that's more like it. Very reminiscent of their BPA, though not as tropical fruity. Looks like I found my summer seasonal of choice.

2009 Scuttlebutt Old No. 1 tonight. Decent flavor, no oxidation, and ridiculously easy to drink at 13.3%.
