I am interested in what are some specialty/different glasswares out there. So, far I know about: DFH Goblet DFH IPA glass (works quite well but very thin glass) Lagunitas Wide Mouth Mason Jar Various Trappist Chalices/Goblets (I have a Chimay) Tulips (I have a Duvel) Mea Culpa Glass Teku (want one) Kwak and other wood supported glass Sam Adams Perfect Pint Snifters Samplers Pints (and variations, like a silicone one and imperial ones) Founders Doom Glass (maybe?) Over-sized Wine Glasses Beer specific glasses (willybecher, pokal, thistle, flute, stange, weizen,) Are there other ones that are brewery specific (like the Lagunitas and DFH ones, though the DFH ones are kind of variations on existing styles)? Also, maybe get some other specific beer glasses in here.
I was looking to see what unique glassware is out there (minus branding). Mainly stuff like the Lagunitas and DFH type stuff that is unique to them. Is it really that confusing?
It's a bit confusing because you can put beer in basically any glass you want... and there are hundreds of different styles of glasses... You could always try going to the websites of popular glass manufacturers (such as Libbey, Rastal, Spigleau, etc) and browse all the different styles of "beer" glassware there? For example, if you go to Rastal's website and click on "To Shop -->" under "Beverage World" - and then click "Beer" under "Categories" they have about 75 "unique" beer glasses (28 "tumblers," 16 tulips, etc)... and that's just one manufacturer... I've heard that in Belgium breweries have a "unique" glass (the shape, not just the branding) for almost every beer, so those would definitely count as "brewery specific." Hopefully this helps explain the confusion and helps answer your question.
Dude I found it at a Goodwill for $1. I've been trying to find out more about it but I can't seem to find anything. Here it is in action
Brasserie d’Ebly La Corne du Bois des Pendus horn: Though Kwak thought it was similar enough to theirs to sue...
Nothing but heresay and conjecture. It will probably show up on the boards with a bottle of red-peak in it.
