I mis-read the question with my initial answer.

Recently it's been Lagunitas Sucks, but with that coming to an end for the season, I'll need to find a new one.

There is no must have for me. If getting a beer is made too prohibitive, I just move on. There are a lot of beers I've had once, loved, and for whatever reason, may never have again. There are a lot more that I probably would love but, for whatever reason, I will die having not tried. I am at peace with this.

Hoptimum. I must have my Hoptimum and buy as much as possible every year when it's released. Not considered a sexy D-IPA by most, I'm just plain addicted to it.

It used to be NG Fat Squirrel. Since they aren't making that one in 2013, I'll have to go with Little Sumpin Sumpin. Always right for just about any occasion.

Unfortunatley I haven't seen it on the shelf here in NJ since November or December.
As a result, I can't walk past Captain Lawerence Captain's Reserve without buying at least one

I bought my first 4 pack yesterday, then convinced a friend to buy a 4 pack and store it in my fridge..just because I feel safer when there is more...

in general I do not have a "must have". I feel unaccomplished when I spend money on a beer more than once or twice when there are so many more out there that I want to try.

I know this absolutely NOT the case for most people, but since I am so ridiculously early in my quest for beer knowledge I try to experience every different beer I can.

I save one bottle from each 4 or 6 pack I get for later consumption in case I feel the sudden "must have" of one of the beers I have previously purchased.

'Haven't seen it yet in PA, I've been buying up Rye of the Tiger to keep my taste buds at bay in the meantime.

Bourbon County Stout. I currently have 3 cases, and I'd have more if the stuff ever hit the shelf in Portland.

The Pupil by Societe. I live about 8 minutes from the brewery and they don't bottle it, so I don't feel as bad drinking the entire growler. It being the best IPA of all time doesn't hurt either. Fact.
