Parabola in Chicago

    May be early, but I am really looking forward to this year's release. I thought I heard a place or 2 are expecting this week, any truth to that?

    Who has it? Where's it at?

    On Friday at the Beer Temple Chris said he expects it in May, Vav posted on Twitter that it would be "next week" when someone asked on Thursday, and the couple other places I asked in the Bucktown area gave me the "I'm not sure we're getting it"

    I always seem to miss out on Parabola, hoping I do a little better than last year. One bottle in the past two years has me hankering for it...

    Does Parabola disappear from stores in a matter of hours in Chicago? I have some friends in Chicago that might be able to pick some up for me but they aren't likely to make a special trip to the store or leave work in the middle of the day. Thanks

    Yes.

    EDIT: Not trying to be cynical as we do get to try most rare releases on tap several times; so Chicago does have its perks!

    IIRC, it comes out around the time of Dark Lord, so this would be par for the course. I got shut out last time, so I'm hoping to snag one this go around in the rat race with you fine fellow crazy Chicago BAs.
