Just curious what people would categorize the RTA by Pipeworks trade value as it was a local limited release?

it sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what it will fetch. how many bottles? how much was it?

I would say the most noteworthy hurdle to this metric will be rAvg: 4.09

on BA that is the stout equivalent of getting 2's on all your AP tests. Maybe for saisons that would fly, but seems a bit polarizing. I would offer up something limited local that doesn't seem to be crushing it out of the park like Cecil Fielder. I would chalk it up to an extreme victory if a Parabola was obtained in this exchange.

You could have at least changed your state before starting this one...

I really enjoyed this beer. Hit me up if you want to trade a bottle

Thought the beer was good, but nowhere near the ballpark of a Bramble or Lindley Park. However, other limited local bottle releases should be able to trade for it.

I have traded it for a CCB Oatmeal Raison Cookie growler, Surly Pentagram, and I've sent some off as extras. Its a really great beer but relatively unknown outside Chicago

i traded an apple brandy barrel aged cream ale from due stouth for a bottle of the abduction. then we expanded for some of the coffee break abductions for some guava groves. so id say limited brewery releases will get this done.

The overarching answer to this question for almost everybody who asks it is "beers are most likely to trade for similar beers".

So, a random local limited release that nobody has ever heard of and scores a 4.1 will likely trade for some other random local limited release that nobody has ever heard of and scores about a 4.1.

That said, you can potentially end up with just about anything, so just post and FT:ISO, and go from there.

Pretty much. Combined with the fact that nearly every review and had is by someone from Illinois, that's bad. Even the homer bias can't get it to at least a 4.2

In conclusion, it will probably trade for another local, limited release.... that also isn't rated amazingly well by locals.

EDIT: cbeer88 beat me by about 30 seconds. But yeah, what he said.
