    I submit Firestone Walker.
Their beers are all, for the most part, world-class.
Their labels are elegant and understated.
Instead of cumbersome wax, they use a neat little peel-away strip.
Their best beers come in boxes, for Christ's sake. Some even include a "pedigree" on heavy stock paper.

    Runner-up: Ommegang

    So what's your pick?

I came here to post Firestone Walker when I read the thread title.

Beaten to the punch by OP, well done sir.

The Bruery would certainly fall under classy. I agree with the wine-style peel off tops versus wax though.

I agree with Firestone Walker for all the reasons stated by everyone.

I'd follow that with Maine Beer Company. A little pricey on their brews but the minimalistic labeling and the fact that they donate a percentage of all their brews to some kind of charity is awesome.

Jack's Abby. Love the medieval theme. All the beers I've had from them are complex and of the highest quality.

    1. They include both a bottling date and a best-by date. I appreciate that. More breweries should do it.
    2. I like their new branding. Instantly recognizable.
    3. Their beer is generally very good.
    4. I've only seen pictures of the brewery, but they really make me want to visit. I mean, are you kidding me?

Classiest must be Brooklyn. Lets start w/ the head brewer Garrett Oliver. Ok first off his name is "Garrett Oliver"; classy. Second in my opinion he''s the hier apparent to Michael Jackson as the preeminent authority on beer. He's eloquent and a traditionalist when it comes to brewing. Brooklyn's labeling and packaging is restrained. Never been to the brewery but from photos looks charming.

Definitely FW. Their labels are elegantly simple and proudly display everything you need to know: Name, ABV, bottling date, style. Also, there's a goddamn bear fighting a lion.

As a side note, I love beer labels made out of that heavy paper. I'm talking about Lagunitas, FW, Bourbon County, Great Divide, etc. It just feels nice

When did the use of heavy stock paper and beer boxes become synonymous with class?

Sierra Nevada is all class. They basically started all this. It's because of Ken Grossman that this website even exists.
