    I did think about that, but it was too late to change the rules. Just means my Panthers fan contingency will not be in effect. No penalty from me, but -2 beer karma if you're That Guy.

    Oh, and to the greatest hockey player of all time

    Watching that ceremony that night and him banging his stick on the pipes on last time as the crowd chanted "Hex-Tall" gave me chills

    Ya know, I probably should've waited until like tomorrow to put my prediction in. Totally gaffed on this. And this is very Flyer-like to win out after they've been eliminated.

    You should have started this LIF back in January--they haven't lost since the night you began it.
    To hit my guesses, I have to root for Buffalo to win and the
    Flyers to lose their last games. That goes against every fiber of my being.

    Holy shit, OP! Thanks to you, I just spent a half hour watching Hextall highlights on Youtube. The guy was a beast! My dad was just getting me into hockey when Hextall was retiring, so I knew little of him (plus I was a young Blackhawks fan that was busy hating the Red Wings), but now, damn, I would to have loved to have seen him play!
