as an often misunderstood brewery, I think Ass Clown Brewing is actually quite classy

Jester King Brewery. The place is amazing, family friendly, and the brewer is actively involved on BA to put out accurate information on their beers. My favorite brewery, and only partly because of the beer.

I have visited the Ommegang Brewery and it looks just like that picture; an idyllic setting. Every summer they have an event called Belgium comes to Ommegang. That is a great event!

As a bonus the Baseball Hall of Fame is just a few miles away in quant Cooperstown.

You also get to see the headwaters of the Susquehanna River in the town!

Do you need more reasons to visit!?!

    Cheers!

This - and because they make excellent beer at an incredible price.

A bear fighting a lion? Well that's just uncivilized.

They lost points under "Classy" when they created the label, cartoon character and goofy back-story for "Hop Wallop".

Remember you can't spell "CLASSY BREWING COMPANY" without "A-s-s C-l-o-w-n".

I would call The Bruery more snobby and full of themselves but I guess classy fits as well.

I gotta go with the Sam Adams Corporation. Simply 'cuz their head honcho is such a non-controversial figure.

I'd have to say Hill Farmstead, due to how Shaun Hill names his beer (mostly after his ancestors) and how well he brews said beer.

Yeah, I considered including HF but I have zero personal experience with that brewery (unlikely to change given the geographical challenge :slight_frown:). And I figured someone else would bring them up. I do really like some of the HF beer names though, and the labels are pretty classy and recognizable.

Double on the FW. No one has mentioned Anchor which came to my mind immediately - a classic. Such an old school place, you should go visit if ever in SF.

And the copper brewhouse to boot.

I like most of the Boulevard Smokestack designs, especially the one they use for Saison Brett, Rye-On-rye & BBQ.

Came here to say Anchor. No gimmicks. No "IN YOUR FACE". No crass labels.
