At 13% it's probably going to be the second one, lol. I was told, 7 kegs in DFW, so I'm hoping to have it on tap at least once more this year, too. But if not, I'm glad I was able to go and have some on draft.

Pretty amazing to me, to be able to get Parabola on tap here in Texas.

 

Can't wait until more places get it and glad to hear you had such an experience at OSDH. I'm so over heading to a "destination" bar just to deal with humongous fusses and clusterfuck crowds all because of a single pour of beer. Gotta love a craft bar in Denton, those guys are doing some amazing work and I wish I had such easy access to very high quality selection when I was first getting into craft.

 

Funny. I heard Texas got half of Colorado's allotment since they wanted to please their new market.

Yea, but if there's 3500 cases and we only got say 100 for the whole state, that's still only 1/35th of the total distribution. I didn't think they distributed to that many states. They must be keeping like 1000 for California.

 

I've been finding it up in St Louis the past couple years - not a problem finding it on the shelves. I hope this isn't going to be another rare beer situation.

 

The Parabola that's landed in DFW thus far has been selling out in 30 minutes to an hour once people learn it has landed -- I'd expect a rare beer situation.

 

I'm off weds, I might have to make the trip up there for a bottle.

 

As far as I know, it's very easy to get in CA. I'm not sure whether this is still true, but I've heard that it is.

Yes it's a rare beer situation. I had to drive around quite a bit to get two bottles. I was driving around for Stone's Dayman too so it's okay I guess. I managed to get two of each so I am thinking it was worth it, but I will reserve that judgement until after I drink them....lol
