2) St. Austell's Tribute
3) Adnam's Southwold Bitter
4) Tin Whistle's Scorpion Double IPA
5) Dieu Du Ciel's Chaman

Is it bad for me that I'm gonna drink 'em all today/tonight?

Just poured my first Celebrator Doppelbock and I have to agree with the label claiming it as the finest Bavarian double bock beer. Not sure what to do with the plastic ram monopoly piece though... Still a fantastic beer.

Paradoxically, I can't get anything earlier than end of February on this one around these parts! I think the big-boxes must buy, like, a thousand pallets of the stuff, and then it just sits around. My bottle store isn't doing much better! I don't think craft brewers should be selling in such large lots...just makes it less fresh in the end. This move alone (buying too much), might turn off a potential convert as well! I say, sell smaller lots and let it sell out! This has happened with my beloved Diabolical....only old stuff laying about at the stores!

 

Finishing off the bottle of Oak Smoked Old Guardian that I cracked last night. This is my first experience with a smoked beer, and I'm loving it. I think this beer would go great with some bbq. I think it's time that I finally try something from Schlenkerla.

Well, I would be guzzlin' some Goose Island IPA right now if my kids hadn't drank it all up last night. I had one dam bottle.

 

I realized how light in color it is, I don't think I realized that when I had it.
