    in the past 2 years i have received as extras or as winnings, 2008 GIBCS 3 times, never a 2009 or 10 but 08. What is it with this year?

    Ummm...I don't know "what it is" with 2008s, but I wouldn't complain if I were you, considering how good it is.

    It was regarded as the best vintage until '11 rivaled it right out of the gate.

    2008 was the last year that they sold four packs everywhere and everyone was not hoarding it. It was a golden era.

    2008 is the best year of BCS I have ever had. I've still got one bottle and I'm just waiting for the right time to crack er' open.

    Honestly, I've never received an 08 as an extra. SO...should you want to send me your extras, that would be OK...

    we did a bcs horizontal earlier this year and a couple of us found the 08 better than vanilla.

    Odd - '08 is the only year from 07-12 that I've never been extra'd/BIF'd. Including '07 a couple of times...

    I couldn't agree more. To me '08 and '11 have been the best vintages. I think I still have one last 4-pack that I've got to get into soon.
