Not sure watching the Mariners is so benefical, unless it's a "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" kind of thing!

    New Russian Imperial Stout Sunday

    Greetings NBSers,

A slightly warmer sunny day here in Southern, CT makes us think winter may finally be releasing its death grip.

Every weekend I promise myself to enjoy an NB for S before 5pm and it seems like every Sunday it just gets later. Too many damn responsibilities. So, here's to trying again next week.

My new brew for day was quite good from a new brewerey in the central part of the state:

    Better late than never!

Overcast and cool in the greater St. Louis area today but no rain so I was able to get in a very plesant 200-mile motorcycle ride today.

Excellent brew that I was glad to finally get around to trying and reviewing this evening.

Glad we're getting a regular supply of Dark Horse brews in our area now.

    Prost!

Productive weekend. Buncha school stuff taken care of, good rehearsals both days (especially today: got a lot of good stuff worked out), and mostly good basketball (even if it was too brief)
All week was sunny and nice, but this weekend, when they threw the big old tourist trap bike tour, it was drizzling and grey. Love it.
Back to making hot sauce tomorrow. Cheers!!

Oh, and the beer? Certainly drinkable. Living on the west coast 'IPA' has come to mean certain things. This is not representative of that. It IS, however, a tasty enough and solidly drinkable beverage without obsessing too much over style. If it came in reasonably priced sixpacks, I'd probably consider putting it in the rotation, but only available in bombers, this will probably be a one off.

At least I did a good deed in supporting like, conservation, or something
