Great to meet you Wyatt! Thanks for your contributions to the table. For those that were at this table, we joined in by opening up a HF Arthur. Didn't get all the names or BA handles, but one generous soul opened up a rare, which was followed by another greatdude opening a King Henry. My son and I thank you so much for the tastes. Hope you enjoyed the HF and the others we opened. Would love to know who was at this table. North side, under the tent - got there around 2:00. If it was you, please reply!

Hey man, I remember you remarking about being one of the old dudes here with a 22 yr old son. I was the guy who opened the rare in the light blue sweatshirt, followed by my bro Pat (Jips) giving me the go to open his Henry. Thank you for bringing an Author, I love that beer! One of my first HF brews and it sold me on how great they are. It was great sharing with you.

Thanks for replying! I was hoping to connect with you and the others to thank you all for your generosity. Please let Pat know as well. Glad you liked the HF. Cant believe we were able to try both Rare and KH, plus all of the other great brews. It was a great table and we had a blast with you and everyone there.

Awesome time with alot of great ba's! Only shitty thing that happened to me was I caught someone in the act stealing 6 3floyds tekus from a box I had them in, what a asshat. Other then that it was a blast.

I had a blast! I am tired, sore, and poor. But it was great seeing FFF doing an event that ran so smoothly.

Best part of the day either had to be when i just randomly walked up and poured '11 BCBCS in your glass or the Older veteran next to lansman's tent that share Fireside Chat with me. I think I talked to him for a good half hour.

This was my first trip to DLD and it certainly won't be my last. I would like to thank Matt, Andy, Jason, Juan(Jesus, Jose, Bob, etc...), Dave, Rose, and the 5-10 other people in group E who made waiting in line a blast.

Thanks for the rare again! I don't even know how many times I have said that to you. Great drinking with you guys. It sounds like you got those bottles back then?

First I've ever been to, and best I've ever been to! Thought it was great. Had 4 trades lined up, one fell through, but was all good since I will keep a BBPlead that way. Ha ha! Was a wonderful time, just wish I would have thought of sun block... Now I look right about this color:
The day flew by a little too fast unfortunately. Wish I could have had more time to have a few taped beers while listening to some metal bands on the stage. Maybe next year if I get lucky enough to score a ticket again!
Didn't get a BA Dark Lord, but hey, I keep the extra $50, and still walk away with 3 DL'rds and a case of ZD. Win win situation if you ask me.
I will go back to this year after year as long as I can afford it!

    Cheers!

Third DLD for me, and by far the best. Highlights:

    - BA Vanilla DL On Draft (thanks to those who shared)
    - BA Alpha Klaus
    - Great company in the bottle line. I didn't get their info, but I wish I had.
    - Got to try DEESKO and Michiana Power. Good, not great, but very happy I got to try them.
    - Drew a bottle of Mamouche in Urbancaver's Single Bottle DLD BIF. Great to finally meet Cam in person. Much thanks to whoever dropped off the Mamouche before I showed up.
    - High fives with Yeahnatenelson in the Intelligensia / mini-snifter line.
    - never had to wait to visit the porta potty.

First prize for irony: about 11:15am of so, before he first band started, Foriegner was being blasted from sound system at the stage.

Rufus with brett is the best beer firestone walker makes and that is saying something. Had a few of them at the barrelworks and wish they did growlers of it.

Had an awesome time. Well worth the price of increased admission. Absolutely loved the layout and how open it all was.
    Got a killer sunburn.
I must have went and checked the guest taps and FFF taps every hour or so but I never saw any BA DL or anything too crazy like huna or napa county that I'm reading were there. There were lots of other good beers on draft that I did try though.

So are thieves targeting DLD? Or is there just nontrivial Venn diagram overlap between the craft beer crowd and absolute pieces of shit?

Pours from friends are always great, as are random conversations with strangers who can tip you off for new things to taste.

Didn't get to do the tables as much as I did in previous years and slightly disappointed by the allotment change, but the increase in space was much appreciated and seemed to make things go much smoother. We ordinarily shit on 3 Floyds with the eagerness of a German **** film, but this time, we need to give them some praise.

With that said though, they need to find a way to get the variant pours under control. Lottery, golden ticket, something to ward off the line cutting which inevitability cheats people who actually wait.

Also, seeing mulls win variants is also pretty crappy. It's an elitist complaint, I understand that, but nothing ticks me off more than seeing people who have no interest in craft beer culture at large getting coveted prizes, just to further line their friends pockets. I wish there was some better way to manage these things, but in the end, it was a pretty solid event that is heading in the right direction.

I missed out on Rufus, which I did not know was there. Definitely sounds like an awesome brew. Maybe I am just sad no AB Zhukov this year
