Twenty two is a big time hidden gem. 16 top end taps plus bottles. I believe Jason from Free Range is the beer manager (and tends two nights a week). I was highly impressed the one time we stopped by (ps the restaurant above twenty two is awesome)

yup, yup...Jason from Free Range bar tends fri and mon night and they always have a wide variety of hard to find beers on the draft board....The smart play is to get on the waiting list at Soul Gastrolounge which is upstairs from 22...they hand you the pager and you head back downstairs and look at art and sip on a good beer while you wait..win win  Walk over to CM for a night cap and do so some people watching...quality night out in plaza midhood...

I almost always get my CO2 refills there and they have a good selection of bottles and draft beers. The problem is they are way out in Matthews, which is pretty inconvenient for anyone that doesn't live in that area. Back when they were in the South Park area, it was much easier for me to make it over there.

Good to hear the positive feedback about Twenty-Two...its just sad that in 2013 people can't keep a simple website up-to-date. Looking at their website and Crown Station you can't find a clue/trace as to what they have.

Twenty Two does everything on Facebook. They post a pic of the beer lineup weekly.

No, but I can certainly sneak a slight blast on posts moving forward? Remember folks "Enjoi all the local beer, and DO NOT........I REPEAT! DO NOT BONE ALONE."

Thanks Sam for this intriguing post regarding how inconvenienced you are on getting your CO2, perhaps a switch to NO2 would be more exciting? Raise your pint to exciting posts...cheers

What ever happened with DukBone's "Don't Bone Alone" tagline anyway? I just went to their website and they have a whole new thing going on. "Don't Sweat the Norm". Not sure I want to think about sweat when I drink beer, but it's better than the old one, I guess.

As for the saturation point, IMHO when you think about Charlotte compared to a lot of other cities it seems like there is room to grow. My two cents.

Horrible business model for a brewery from ground up. I'd be VERY surprised if they actually open and if by some chance they do it'll be open and closed within a few years.
