I am an Angels fan and spend quite a bit of time at the big A but the beer selection is TERRIBLE. I was very excited last year when they announced they would be carrying bootleggers and Hangar 24. Come to find out that they are only offering the pale and the hef from each and this year they serve only inbev beers throughout the park with one beer stand in the most out of the way location in the entire stadium.
If I head down south to a Padres game on the other hand..... Green Flash IPA and Sculpin all day long.

I wish the White Sox offered good beer instead of the standard Miller swill. Chicago has so much to offer craft wise that I'm surprised they haven't made an attempt to offer any craft options at games. I haven't even seen Goose Island there! I would love it if the Sox started selling Half Acre, Revolution, Two Bros, Goose Island, and Three Floyds at games. I would gladly pay more for it than the bland yellow piss water that is served there now.

I have only seen Wright Pils on draft. As much as I enjoy Great Lakes, I don't see myself getting this one. Have I missed other options there? Other than getting a $7 bottle of some offerings at one select stand, I have only seen otherwise on draft Bells Oberon, Moerlein OTR, Leinenkugel berries/shandies, and BMC. I'm getting to the point of going beerless at the Reds games. I can only enjoy so many $8.75 Shandies.

Was just at the Tigers game last night, Comerica park has definitely stepped it up this season as far as craft beer goes. There was a selection of maybe ~20 Michigan craft beers with about 8 or so on tap. Only complaint is, as far as I know, they're not served "all around the stadium" like the article claims, but there's just one craft beer stand behind the right field grandstands.

Prices were pretty good too comparatively, $8.75 for a 16oz draft pour or $7.75 for a 12oz bottle, and I'm pretty sure a 16oz Miller Lite is at least $8. So unless I'm too lazy to walk out to right field to get my beer, no reason I won't be drinking many All Day IPAs this summer at the ballpark, like the one pictured below:

Turner Field sucks for beer, unless there's an obscure craft stand I haven't seen yet. I had to settle for some Blue Moon seasonal, which luckily was the same price as BMCs and came with an orange at least. It was weird though to watch people in front of me buy a coors for $7 when they could get a blue moon for the same.

Went to Fenway a couple of weeks ago, selection varies throughout the park. Best I found was Smuttynose IPA for $8.50 (12 oz). They also have locals such as Wachusett Green Monsta, Sam Boston Lager, etc. Still, its nice to attend a game and be able to spend $20 for a couple of quality craft beers. I also recommend attending a Mets game, as although the team isn't much, the craft beer selection is top-notch.

Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia Phillies) has been getting better every single year. They added a beer garden this season. Cannot wait to get down there and check it out

I didn't read the article, but I'm always drinking Russian River Blind pig in the stands. Lots of good choices including allagash Bourbon barrel aged Black, Firestone double DBA, Ballast Point Sextant Stout on nitro, and about 20 other craft selections rotating thru.

    Go Giants!

Not at all surprised to see Seattle in the #1 spot. Now if it was about the team that plays there, that would be a different story. But we have our priorities straight.

At yanks games the beers of the world section only is Stella, Heineken and blue moon at around $12. Soo I just stick with 24oz bud for $11...isn't the greatest but gets the job done

Petco is definitely doing better lately.. They have that one craft beer stand that sells a bunch of good stuff, including Goose Island.. Honkers Ale, but whatever.. It's better than a Bud Light Lime tallboy.

Both L.A. teams have some catching up to do (I apologize now to Dodgers fans for referring to the Angels as an L.A. team). The Dodgers just started carrying Golden Road Brewing and Fireman's Brew's this year, but California has so many top notch brewers and it'd be great to see more of them represented at Dodgers and Angels games.

One thing about the Angels...I remember when Arte Moreno took over the team he promised to lower beer prices. Maybe the higher cost they'd have to charge for craft brews is what's preventing him from signing off on this. Or more likely they have a contract in place with B, M, or C.

While Seattle has a very good selection, the price leaves something to be desired. Local craft beers that sell for $4-5 a pint in bars, go for $9.50-9.75 at the stadium. Best plan is to hit Collins Pub and/or Elysian fields before hand. Then split a 22 of FW Union Jack ($11) with a buddy (or just drink it yourself).

You have to expect to pay exorbitantly more for beer at a ballgame, be it macro or craft. You are part of a captive audience that has no other choice but to pay through those nose for concessions. That said, under $10 a beer sounds pretty good to me! Most times we pay at least $12 a beer or higher here in Southern California and we barely have anything but macros to choose from.

We are partial season ticket holders for the fighting phills. Great beer selection. Dales pale, 60 minute, hop devil. All of them all over the field. We have been to a lot of parks, all ave had great selections. Coors (who would have thought), Baltimore, Seattle, Cleveland. Pittsburg and wrigley were marginal

Yeah, I know, and I do expect it. But, each MLB team gets $200,000,000 a year, just from the national Fox tv contract. Then throw in the ESPN, TBS, local tv & radio contracts, parking, $5-8 hot dogs, and whatever ungodly amount they make from merchandise sales. Oh, wait. We pay for tickets to the games too. They stop selling beer in the 7th inning at the insurance office, it just seems they could knock a couple bucks off a pint, and still have cash left to pay Justin Smoak's sorry ass.
