Whenever I taste Odell's Myrcenary, I wonder why I don't drink it more often. Is it the best year round DIPA distributed in more than one state (excluding PtE)?

Another Mountain Standard fan. In my opinion the best BIPA out there. Mercenary is sick as well. i actually haven't had a bad beer by odell yet. Granted I'm in Illinois and they don't distro here yet.

I drive to Idaho for the sole purpose of buying Myrcenary. I have zero other reasons to go, but that beer is better than any DIPA I can buy in WA year round (unless Fresh Sucks or Hop Stoopid is around).

We're lucky enough to get most of Odell's beers up here in northern Wyo (we have reasonably sad distro). I fell in love with Myrcenary before I had tried any other DIPA/IIPAs. Then I fell in love with the style in general. Then I got on BA and learned about all the amazing DIPA/IIPAs that I couldn't get here in Wyo, and I was bummed. Since then, I've tried many incredible DIPA/IIPAs, including some of the big names (PtE, Sucks, Heady Topper, Alchemy Hour, etc). They're all good, and I'm so glad to have gotten a chance to try them.

I honestly still think I love Myrcenary the best...

Perhaps it's because it's easy for me to get, available year round, super high quality without all the excessive hype around it.

Great beer like everything Odell does. For whatever reason, though, it took me a while to finally get into this one but I have finally turned the corner on it. Right up there with my favorite of the style.

I love it but wish that Odell would do a 'bottled on' date instead of an 'enjoy by' date so I knew that what I was buying was as fresh as possible.

I think that both france44.com and letspour.com sell it.

They have a 4 month window on their beers so whatever the 'Best By' date is, just subtract 4 months from it and that is when it was bottled.

Myrcenary is a little sweet as a DIPA for me, but damn, I love that Mountain Standard.

Myrcenary is representative of the standard that Odell puts out. All their beers rank up with the best of their style, particularly Lugene, their IPA, 90 Schilling and their Red Ale. It's especially nice being able to get them at their freshest here in Colorado.

Certainly, one of the most well rounded breweries out there - high quality across the board - way underrated, maybe the most underrated.
