So besides the guy on craigslist selling a BA and two regulars for $1000 (aka the antichrist lol), i'm wondering just what it takes to pull this. No doubt this is a whale already, whether you have the BA version or not. I got in late on the series and didn't get this one, and would like to complete it obviously. I don't see people offering it up or responding to ISO's looking for it. I've even tried pulling from the cellar things like levuds to see if there were takers. What do you guys think? Is it just that the number of these is so low that its become un-tradable or are there people out there just waiting for the right moment to capitalize on the trade?

Anyone who still has one at this point is doing their own vertical.

Though I hear to get a BAVDL, you need at least one BA PiaPT and a regular non-BA version to sweeten the deal.

Chances are if someone has a bottle of BA Partridge they have a levuds. You might want to try something else.

I think it would be easier to find someone willing to share it in 2019. That's my plan - I've got the entire series in BA treatment, minus PiaPT, and I'm going in with someone who has a bottle to finish the vertical.

    It's worth a shot.

I believe only 200 some BA PiaPT were released only to the first 200 of the initial wave of RS guys.

Even less if memory severs, the first 150 I believe. I recall, since my very first trip to the Bruery, I almost signed up for the RS, but didn't. Two friends of mine did, and they were # 147 & 148, I would have been 149, and they indicated there were only 4 spots left to guarantee a bottle of BA PiaPT. (this was 4 years ago, so it may have been 250 admitedly)

Probably my only beer travels regrets, (since I didn't know what this would become later) but, I have had it, and I know a few that still have theirs too.

Someone Was Offering One As Part Of A Package To Trade For A Lost Abbey Box Set A Few Weeks Ago.

Trading for one or buying one will not be easy, and will only get harder. If you really want one, I would suggest making an offer that leaves no question that you will get one. It's not unrealistic that you would have to offer ~$ 300 worth of good beer to get one in a trade (depending on the beer, of course), and it will only become more of a prize as 2019 nears.

First 250 to sign up for RS received a BA PiaPT, and the official number of bottles produced was 290.

It has to be the right $300 worth of beer, too, because anyone who has one is probably sitting on it to drink it, not holding it as trade bait. It's a fairly safe bet that < 200 bottles are still floating around, and it's people who likely are in possession of or had access to every Bruery beer.

Cinderbike has the right idea on this one - try to find someone who's going to open a bottle and make it worth their while to include you. Trading for one is going to take a lot of effort, and quite honestly, you'll probably be giving up too much for what you'll end up drinking.

I had to remove it from my wants list before making my post. I couldn't be that obvious while sabotaging it's value.

Thank you to everyone for their posts. It was great information! A special thanks to usofar for directing me to someone who could help me.
    Here's how the story ends.....
I'm trading my box set including the track 13, excluding the lanyard and record.
    I'm getting...
    BA PiaPT
    BA 2TD
    2011 BT
    CL Rosso Marrone
    3 BA 4D
    BA cereal killer
    BB Insidious
    Terrapin moohoo
    and a couple extras.
Outside of the BA PiaPT I didn't have much preference on what was thrown in. I'm satisfied with this trade and think that we both made out with good stuff.

There were about 30 low fill bottles that were given out at the first RS initiation.
