Don't forget to mix a little bit of that W-n-B and Moo-Hoo. Wake-n-Moo is phenomenal.

Recently went to London with a short day trip to Brussels. Came back with 26 bottles (750s) of various Cantillon. When I left on the trip with an empty suitcase I was worried about whether I would be able to get all this beer back here. Despite that I had checked to make sure that federal and local law, as well as airline regulations would allow it, I was still worried that I would run into some trouble.

But, I had no troubles. Loaded two bags, about 60 lbs each, and came back with no hiccups. Asked the person checking the bags to make sure they marked them as fragile and not one bottle broke, even with a layover where the bags had to change planes.

Got a few funny looks from the guys at Cantillon when I was wrapping the bottles in my daughter's diapers for protection and absorption if necessary.

Anyway, I just wanted to post this in case anybody else is contemplating doing the same but worried that they might run into trouble. I had none.

Here is a shot of 20 of the 26 bottles I brought back. Nice!

the other six were: 2 more 50nx4e, 1 rose, 1 iris, 1 vigneronne, 1 grand cru

I left them in the cases that they come in at the brewery, but wrapped each bottle in a diaper and then put them back in the boxes. Then the boxes were wrapped in a combination of large and small bubble wrap and some extra diapers.

You are correct. Traded one to my buddy, who is taking it to our local bottle share tonight. Excited to give it a try. It's got a tough act to follow after having Pappy Van Muckle on draft at Dark Lord Day Saturday.

None whatsoever. I even told them that I had nothing but beer in the bags. Didn't pay a duty either. I was psyched to say the least.

Just some shelf turds I picked up today: LC #3, Parabola (regret buying this), Perennial FV, Perennial Savant Beersel, De Molen B&G (At the normal $11 price I'd never buy this, but $3 on the clearance rack? Yes please) [IMG]

Not much by the standards here but a lot for me. I got 13 hours of OT so I splurged and dropped $113 on 6 beers and a bottle of scotch.
