I did a bit of searching and didn't see much, and I don't think this is quite appropriate for the ISO/FT forum, but forgive me if this isn't the correct place for this.

I managed to snag a Connoisseur Session ticket and decided to fly out from Portland, OR to take a week long VT beercation (5/23-5/29). I'll be hanging out with a few VT friends and regular HF trading partners, but am also looking to meet up with some BAs and do a bottle share of sorts either in the campgrounds at HF or elsewhere if anyone knows somewhere willing to host.

I'm not just talking your average bottle share, but more of a rarer/brewery-only releases/rather drink it than trade it sort of thing. I've got a pretty deep cellar, I upgraded my flights so I can check three 70lb bags for no extra charge (including a large cooler I plan to stock with some tap-only stuff from out here and re-fill with VT goodness for my trip back), so just about anything is on the table.

Some examples of things I could bring (I'll keep it to OR stuff):
    • Hair of the Dog - AFTW, Matt, Michael, Bourbon Fred
    • Block 15 - Golden Canary, Imagine, Super Nebula (multiple vintages), Pappy's Dark (multiple vintages), Kriek, Framboise White
    • Deschutes - Abyss (2007-2012), The Dissident (2008, 2010, 2012) Black Butte (XXI, XIII, XIV), fresh growlers from the PDX Pub
    • Ale Apothecary - Sahalie, La Tache, El Quatro
    • Cascade - pretty much anything they've released in bottles the last 3 years
    • Logsdon - just about everything, including both vintages of Peche 'n Brett, Oaked Bretta, Seizoen Bretta (multiple vintages)
    • Upright - both vintages of Fantasia, Blend Love, a ton of different Sole Compositions
    • Pelican - MOAS (multiple vintages)
    • The Commons - pretty much anything they've bottled so far, fresh growlers from the brewery
    • Boneyard - RPM, Hop Venom, Notorious - fresh growlers
Essentially, I'll bring whatever you like if you would like to share some of your best from out east. Some examples (in order of preference by bullet):
    • Hill Farmstead (vintage, small batch, or stuff I haven't tried) - Mimosa, Ann, E., Damon, Jim, Art, Civil Disobedience (any/all), BA Earl, BA Everett, BA Fear & Trembling (any/all)
    • Southampton - Raspberry Lambic
    • FFF - Dark Lord BA variants
    • Kate the Great (any/all)
    • BA Sexual Chocolate (any/all)
    • Allagash Coolships
    • fresh east coast growlers (IPAs specifically)
Please don't hesitate to let me know if I'm way off base here or whatever - I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone is interested. Please do not message me for IP trades or anything like that - I am strictly looking to share some of these while in VT for the time being. I may post a separate IP ISO/FT in that forum at a later date.

    Cheers, and thanks for reading!

Epic post-session, all-night bottle-shares among campers at HFB are standard procedure. Work out your IP trades in advance and bring what you want. Note: We are now getting lots of OR beers in VT, including several brewerys on your list. But, there will be out-of-towners who may have yet to enjoy them, so go nuts. a few of us are doing our own "Conossieur Session" on Friday night to make room for upcoming HF releases and just attending the GA/camping option.

I'll be there with my friend and fellow BA ScottP. We have General Admission tickets, and I'm already planning bottles to bring. Among things I might bring are Art, Juicy, BA 4 Calling Birds, Choc Rain, Black Tuesday, Cherry Rye, Maple Tripple, a crap-ton of Eclipses, Beat B5, Consecration, Dissedent, Lawson's Farmhouse Rye, Sans Pagiae, etc. I plan on having a hell of a time with whatever I end up bringing.

    Cheers!

I'll be up for the vip session from Chicago. Just opened a ton of stuff at DLD, but I'm for sure bringing some Chicago staples. I've never been up to Vermont (also doing a night in Portland) so I'm super excited for the entire weekend.

If anyone has any specific wants from out here I'll bring then to share no problem.

I hit up the harvest festival last September and couldn't miss any more of these events. I'll be seeing you all there!

Is Sofie Paradisi going to be available for growler fills before you head east? That beer sounds absolutely amazing. I'm just saying...

This will be my first HF fest, I absolutely can't wait. As we get close, I don't even care that I missed out on connoisseur tickets. It's going to be great.

I plan on bringing growlers from Tired Hands and, perhaps, Kane Brewing. I have yet to figure out what bottles to bring. As May moves along, keep an eye out on draft selections from either and I will try to oblige.

    Tired Hands: http://www.tiredhands.com/beers/on-tap
    - Not always up to date, but the twitter account tends to fill in the gaps.

    Kane Brewing: https://twitter.com/kanebrewing
    - Updates on twitter. I believe their facebook is a good information source as well. However, I don't do facebook.

I will definitely keep my eyes out. I live a couple blocks from the pub, but pretty much every release this year has been draft only.

Good to know. This is my first time coming out to HF, obviously. Yeah, I know some of the people in charge of that OR/VT distribution/exchange thing going on, and you probably saw the standard offerings in bottles (The Commons Urban Farmhouse, Flemish Kiss, Wit, and Logsdon Seizoen, Seizoen Bretta, and Kili Wit, Upright Four, Five, Six, Seven), but I don't think anything like Peche 'n Brett, Maybelle, Brotherly Love, etc. got out there.

They also did a keg exchange as well (there may be more in the future, but OR definitely got the raw end of that deal as far as quality/rarity on round 1, so we'll see what happens). In any case, as you noted and as the posts so far in this thread suggest, people are coming from all over for this event, so even stuff that was on the shelves or on tap for a bit from OR, I doubt too many people (save the frequent traders with bigger cellars) have tried a ton of the stuff I listed.

If there are any other Oregon beers you guys want to try or releases that catch your eye in the next few weeks, don't hesitate to let me know.

I have tickets for the regular session and will be there with some friends. We plan to bring a couple of Cantillon (Fou'Foune, St. Lamvinus & al.) along with great Québec beers for the bottle share.

If there's any Québec beers someone want to try, let me know!

This sounds great but I'm afraid I don't have anything of the rare-and-desirable quality to contribute. I can bring a TH growler and maybe a Philly brewpub bottle or two (Dock St, F&M, TH etc). Looking forward to the festival more and more each day!

No worries on rarity and whalezbro and the like. A trip to the Hill for the Anniversary party is worthy enough, I have a feeling there will be tons of great stuff for all to try that night at camping. This is going to be a great night, I can't wait either. I'm bringing some bottles I've wanted to try but haven't had a chance to open yet, the more people who want to try this stuff, the better. Going to be fun!

Also, if some of you are staying in or near Waterbury on Friday night and want to do a small tasting/bottle share there, we will be there and it could be really interesting.

I have things to offer as Art, Civil Dis #5, LeBlue, Brett d'or, Lawson's BB stout, Maple Barrel, BA sexual chocolate, Abyss, Black butte, Lindley park, Ivan the Terrible, possibly growlers from Blue Lobster Brewing and many more. Love to get together with fellow BA members tom10101,teddyarrowhead, and whoever else wants to meet other BA's and share there goodies. Can't wait and it's going to be a fun time.

Ha, I just traded for an Art too! Between the both of us, we have to bring one of them. I say the more past HF releases that people bring, the better. If I bring a Juicy, I do.

There's gonna be a ton of us up there. Should be a real good time. I already have a few bottles already set aside, most of which are to please oldp0rt. ;-)

Should I bring some BA name tags for all of us?
