2.) Drink it.
3.) Use it to kill slugs

this is probably really bad but i've actually thought about giving old, known-bad beers to homeless alcoholics. i mean, they could probably use a beer right?

 

Not such a bad idea. I tried that with friends in San Francisco once. We had a bunch of BMC left over from a bachelor party and drove around trying to give it away. Believe it or not, this was no easy task. 6 or 7 tries later, we gave 2 cases of shitty beer to a group of homeless Dead-heads who had nothing to celebtare the anniversary of Jerry Garcia's with. Talk about Grateful...

 

To stick to the OP's question, toss half of it out first being mindful of the smell. If it doesn't smell too shitty, toss the other half back.

 

Tried to give away some old beer to strangers recently. They thought I was trying to poison them. That's what the world has come to, I'm afraid.

 

I guess so. It could have a bomb in it. We also had a "FREE BEER" Sunday where we put up a sign on the road in front of my friend's house on a hot day to get rid of an excessive amount of beer i had saved up just for the caps. 6 hours of honks and thumbs-up, we gave away 1 beer to a neighbor. Maybe if we had put a "$1 BEERS" sign up, we would have done better!

 

It may be good to boil sausages with it and throw the sausages on the grill.

 

Fine. I'll stay on task. Dump the first half, then toss the second half. It sucked when it was new, it could only be worse now.
