Kuhnhenn

I think the confusion came from that you said you didnt like Kuhnhenn's brewpub because it smelled bad, and you liked Big Rock/Griffin Claw better. It looked like you were talking about the brewpub not the beer.

Since Griffen Claw is a totally different brewery, just the same head brewer, I wouldnt assume it is going to exactly the same. You would be amazed how much can change when brewing the same recipe on different equipment. Adjustments have to be made. Dan knows his stuff when it comes to brewing, so my bet is it will be very similar, if not the same.

 

griffin claw is not big rock. big rock is big rock its 2 different buildings. it just happens to be the brewer from big rock which will no longer be brewing beer. and sorry to say but big rock beer does not hold a flame to kuhnhenn, they are good and dan is a great brewer but yea no.

 

So what we've learned is that Kuhnhenn may or may not smell, but everyone agrees they have great beer.
