Started out with a great meal of roast elk, done with white potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots cooked all day in the crock pot, with a side if asparagus and of course a SN Torpedo to wash it all down.

Went to visit the neighbor (my beer guy) and pounded a few Coors Light - it's all good.

    Now for the nightcap:

Great tune BTW - a fave off that album, 'natch - but so wait - you dropped a little bourbon into the Yeti? Not that I have any on hand (just some gin (been watching M*A*S*H lately)), but I never thought to try that - how much do you add?

Having an Anchor Small Beer. I like it a hell of a lot more than many on BA seem to. Not a very complex brew, certainly doesn't hit you in the face with flavor, but nice.

Long day today, I rode 2 loops of Bald Mountain for 5.8 miles of trails. Then I bottled 6 gal of Dunkelweizen, and transferred another 6 to the same secondary I just emptied. Now for some reviews.

Decent White. Solid balance, but just not a whole lot going on here.

Nice pale ale. Unique malt complexity with a very balanced citrus hop profile. Enjoyable stuff.

Damn good DIPA. Tons of hops well balanced with a big malt backbone. Oak isn't overwhelming and complements it nicely. Delicious.

    Cheers
