Been holding on to these 2 bottles and wanted to know the trade value is on these guys? Anyone recently trade these?
Yes. Two weeks ago I think? I didn't enjoy it much, but Doopie liked it. We had an '08 Dark Lord the week after as well and it was a 15-people-agree drainpour. We drainpoured a lot of DL that night actually. Just not good. The 2010 was the only vintage I cared for, which, ironically, was the first DL I ever tried a few years back. Evern since then, ever DL vintage I've drunk has been pretty rough going. Jeff
Wow, that's very different from our groups experiences... usually the '08 is the most enjoyable (though a few have fallen off lately), the newer versions being too sweet/not stouty enough.
Haven't traded them. Honestly I will probably give them to Nicks6217 just cause I can. But who knows if someone were to make me an offer I could be persuaded.
At Darkness Day this past year I traded a BCBVS + Bramble for a 2008 Darkness and 4 pack of Wet. But it took a lot of searching to get someone who would trade an 08 Darkness for a 'Nilla, hope this helps
