No one ever mentions it, it's from a small brewery in Santa Rosa, CA, like D st or something

I've only had it in Munich, but IIRC it was my favorite Hefe in the whole city.

Peak organic IPA and Oak Aged Mocha Stout are two that I enjoy the hell out of that I never see anyone mention. Also Jolly Pumpkin E.S Bam doesn't get enough chatter.

This stuff destroys most BBA beers. Well not really, but it tastes decent.

I agree; while I haven't posted about it too much this year, it seemed to me like it was all I posted about last year when I first discovered it. This season I had to slow down on it a bit as I burnt myself out on it a bit last year.

Odell's Red does not get nearly the amount of love I think it deserves. The IPA, Myrcenary, and St. Lupulin seem to hog all the attention from most Odell fans but I think their Red Ale is in that group as well. And not as a "its in that group but 4th place" type of way either.

Also, the original batch of Crooked Stave's Saison Vieille...one of my very favorite saisons and tied with WWBI as my favorite offering from CS. I feel that one gets way overlooked, with all the attention going to the CS sours.

Ipswich Oatmeal Stout....the standard for all oatmeal stouts, at least brewed here in the States (to show respect to Sam Smith's....though I prefer Ipswich), yet I don't feel its treated as such.

Is that underrated? It's fantastic, and rated very highly on BA and RateBeer...but I know what you mean, not a "common" beer, I suppose.

Here are some beers that I drink when I'm not looking to spend much and that aren't at all bad. Trader Joe's Josephs Brau line is, for the price, damn good, especially their Dunkelweizen (wintermint, juniper, unfiltered ale, very nice). For $6.50 a six-pack, one can do a hell of a lot worse. Oh, and need I mention Weihenstephaner? There's a reason they've been around since for almost 1,000 years...Just great, great beer for any palate, and $3 for a 24oz. The Germans discovered the secret long ago, I'm afraid.

Over-malted, not refreshing, too much mix-and-match hop cones to warrant any definition, and did I mention it's over-malted? Sorry to be forward, but did you wake up high, today? Red Chair doesn't get the attention of Sucks, because Sucks blows it out of the water in every corner of the bout.
