    BBQ sauce is going on once I flip it. I don't like putting it on at the start because the sugars in it burn long before the chicken is done

    Well played, old boy! :wink: My Dad is an amazing cook, but he never taught me how. 2006, became stay at home Dad and taught myself to cook and Grill + BBQ. Made the neighbors jealous with amazing aroma wafting from our yard. BBQ Bible, How to Grill, and BBQ USA are great starter books.

    Back to beer, popped open this to start lunch:

    D'oh, what kind of chicken BBQ sauce do you use? Ever use wood chips? My neighbors always go wild with
    hunger/jealousy.

    Usually I go with jack Daniels, but we were out so I had I settle for sweet baby rays honey BBQ. My grill isn't set up to use wood chips. My back patio is only 3 feet wide with a roof over it so I can do anything that generates smoke

    You can take some lightly soaked wood chips and wrap them in aluminum foil, make your own pouch.
    Poke a some holes in the poach, so the smoke can escape. Good luck, my friend.

    They were never meant to speak poorly of others, merely offering a description of myself, but it
    can out very poorly.
