Drink New Dogtown Pale Ale. I have a fairly readily available supply of both fresh, and As of today, after drinking both... New dogtown is drinking better, with more flavor and balance and body? I GUESS ZOMBIE DUST ISN'T THE SAME AS IT USED TO BE.

I love Dogtown, but it's not comparable. The drinkability & rye grainy mouthfeel are incredible.

Been singing this song for a while....less malt, less sweet, and easier drinking to boot. But I won't go as far as stating I'd prefer it over ZD...

I drink ZD all the time so let me help here. Fresh Sumpin Sumpin, Flower Power, Daisy Cutter. Those beers are all crazy close to ZD.

Drink pseudoSue from Toppling Goliath. It is actually better than ZD and a true competitor being a single hopped APA brewed with Citra.

Agreed, but it is probably much easier to get Zombie Dust.

I haven't had ZD yet but, New Dogtown is my new favorite Pale Ale as of last month when I tried it at Rivers and Spires Brew Fest in Clarksville, TN. The most hop flavor I have ever had in a pale!

Really? I mean, it is distributed in 2 states, but very, very minimally. Beyond a small number of kegs getting distribution, there were only 110 cases (22oz. Bombers) made in their first bottling run, which happened 2 weeks ago. Sure, the majority of those cases left their taproom, but I still find it very hard to believe that ZD is harder to get (as their is definitely more being produced than Sue).

Huh, you misread my post. It is easier to get ZD compared to PsuedoSue.

Revolution's Galaxy Hero surprised me with how much it reminded me of ZD, Ill have to try them back to back some time soon. But to all you chicago people out there, give it a shot if picking up ZD is out of the question.
Gotta say, at $8 a bomber, its great, but obviously a 6pk of ZD for $10 at the brewery is a much smarter way to go.
