    The Rye on Rye

    Chicago mixology master Benjamin Schiller’s recipe, from memory. I hope this is correct:

    2 oz Templeton Rye
    ½ oz fresh lime juice
    6 oz Founders Red’s Rye Pale Ale
    Angostura bitters, dash

    Originally presented by Ben in a pint mason jar with a single large chunk of ice. Seen here in my nonic pint glass with two 2" ice cubes. His presentation is definitely superior, as the the rustic nature of the jar and rugged hunk of ice matches the murky-looking liquid.
