    I was just curious how many of us are in the beer industry, be it brewer, sales rep, distributor, bar owner, etc... The votes have been kept anonymous to somewhat protect peoples privacy. Cheers!

    It would be good to have a "Not in the industry" option to get a guage to see how many people are and how many aren't.

    I'm the beer manager at Indianapolis' premier craft beer store. We take very good care of beer geeks. We have a sour tasting on April 26th!

    Other, Beer Manager for the largest beer department in the Midwest (Binny's Lincoln Park, e.g. the old Sam's.) Also taste professionally (Beverage Testing Institute, World Beer Awards.)

    I think your results will be too skewed. Bar owner is one thing. Not sure why bartenders would count as "in the industry". Does the retail clerk at Total Wine count? They ring up tons of beer every day. They do a lot of beer chatting in aisles, certainly moreso than many bartenders that are often just pouring beers.

    I work for a craft beer distributor in SC. I have one of the best jobs ever IMO. I work hard but it is really rewarding.
