Not sure about events, but the best anytime draft list I've ever seen is at the Yard House in Glenview IL. Wish they had a full menu up to browse, but with 150 or some crazy number of taps, they always have something new and rare to try.

ten minutes from my house the clarkston union offers a consistently great taplist. there is always at least one rarish selection, right now its 2012 120 minute and maybe the brooklyn blast but ive seen CBS and a couple other gems there in the last month or so.

Some of Brouwer's special events have okay lists, I guess.

The rotating draft/bottle list at armsby abbey is always ridiculous.

That's a little too far west for me, but the best place I've stumbled into recently has been Lord Hobo in Cambridge.

The Stone Tap Takeover at Rattle N Hum few years back was kinda sick, don't have a list but the vintages of great beer were phenomenal.

Gotta give it to Torst for the best day in day out menu, and their opening day menu was one I doubt it's possible to beat.

The House Of 1000 Beers in New Kensington, Pa (outside of Pittsburgh) has 40 taps.
http://ho1kb.jonlitz.com/ I think that will get you to their current list.

The Cantillon takeover at Monk's a year or 2 ago...I can't find the exact list but it was the most Cantillon kegs tapped at once ever in the U.S. - multiple vintages of Fou Foune, St Lamvinus, Iris, etc.

    EDIT (found it):

    Cuvee des Champions
    Fou Foune (2007 and 2008)
    Iris (2004 and 2007)
    Kriek
    Lou Pepe Kriek (2008)
    Monk’s Café Cuvee Gueuze (2006)
    St. Lamvinous (2006 and 2008)
    Vigneronne (2006)
    Zwanze (2010)

This place is 30 min from my house, they ALLWAYS have Zombie Dust for $5.50 a pint and great food. Currently have Hopslam, ZD, & Enjoy By. This is not an event, this place always has an epic beer list, and it's always changing (besides ZD).

I know. I live just far enough away that I do not spend all my money there. Plus they stock over 1200 beers in bottles. Prices are not bad either.

I'd have to agree with Atomic. The Yard House in the Palisades Mall in NY is really something. There's never a time I go that I don't try something new. Food is tasty, too.

Prohibition Pig in VT usually has HF, HT and Lawson's on there and whenever I've been there has been some awesome non-VT brews too.
