    But not the last...

    ----------------

In unrelated news, I'm unpacking a couple of boxes that were blocking my front door (thus creating a fire hazard) while sipping on some MBC goodness...

Personally, I thought that Doom was very well done. The barrel really smoothed out the beer and the bourbon was upfront but not overpowering. You still got the citrusy notes of the Double Trouble, but in a much mellower form.

Overall, I would rank Doom slightly higher than Double Trouble on taste alone, but it is definitely not as easy to drink. Seems to me it would be best enjoyed in smaller quantities while, on the other hand, I could put back a few Double Trouble pretty easily and have no problem.

Let me know how your comparison goes this weekend!
