Visiting San Francisco for one week in June. I'm from Massachusetts and would like to take adavntage of what the city has to offer that i can't get on the east coast. Any recommendations?

Also, sorry if this thread has been done to death. feel free to link me to any prior explanations of the same.

    Thanks!

Or Ales Unlimited. You cn find everything they have elsewhere w/o the mark up and shitty techno music.

....or just type "San Francisco," "SF," "Bay Area," and/or "Northern California" in the search box in the top right. If you feel adventurous, type in "San Fran" or "Frisco"

Not when it comes to beer. Beer is serious business.

Oh, please.. on here? God forbid you post a thread that has been posted before. People act like you round-house kicked their mother.

Take the time to drive an hour or so up to Russian River in Santa Rosa.

I think the point of discouraging repetitive posts is to keep the forums as relevant as possible with the most diverse set of topics. You would probably agree that if the first 4 pages of the Pacific forum contained only threads asking iterations of "Where should I drink in SF/LA/SD?" you (and most people) would find the forums less than helpful.

Honestly, baycat's list is legit. You could throw a dart at any of those places and have great food/beer/experience.

    I'll add a handful...

    Magnolia Brewing
    The Alembic
    Starbelly
    Papalote
    Paulines Pizza
    Pi Bar
    Burma Superstar
    Bar Crudo
    and many, many others.

When you say you "would like to take adavntage of what the city has to offer that i can't get on the east coast." Do you mean *****ies and medical weed?

Well, that's preposterous.. If someone came on and noticed the entire page was filled with the same question, they probably wouldn't start a new one asking the same thing. If there is one on each page, I wouldn't notice or care. Agreed to disagree, I suppose.

There's at least 4 threads on the first page, including this one, concerning trips to SD/LA/SF. Not enough for you to notice?

I guess it just doesn't bother me. It's never going to stop, so you should probably stop worrying about it so much, ya know?

While I agree with you, it's a bit easier for you to say, since, you know, you've only been around for a few months.

Ah.. you're pullin' the seniority card.. Well, you've got me there, my friend. I'll just go hang out in the newbie threads.

    You have
Zeitgeist is a fun place to grab a pint. Being a Bay Area Native, I do kinda cringe when people use the words "Frisco" and "Cali" in reference to the SF Bay Area. You didn't, thanks.
