I used to buy 22 oz. bottles ALL the time, I mean ALLLLL the time. Then I realized how cost ineffective they were. So now I'm more into 6 packs and the cheaper 22's. I can get a 22 oz. Stone, Bear Republic, Blue Point, Legacy, etc. for $6 or less that taste great and are fine for me. Plus they are just the right size for a sitting.

    * Once in awhile though I will splurge and get a real good 22 oz. bottle for a special occasion like a biirthday, sporting event, family get together. Or maybe because it is a special release like a Stone Enjoy By or Harpoon 100 Barrel Series.

    How about you?

If you include 750s then about $130.

If I like the beer and it reasonably fresh I don't care what it costs.

mid-20's, but it would have to be something really special.

If it's something i really want I still would have trouble going over $20 for it.

Totally depends on the beer, but if it's not something special, 6 bucks is a good limit, I think. If I could get Stone bombers for that around here, I'd drink more ruination...

For a casual beer I like to limit it to 10$. On special occasions I will spend 15$+ but rarely do I spend any more.

$10 is my usual limit. $15 maybe for something special from a brewery I have respect for.

Nope-I'm a ***** for hype, rarity, and occasionally even quality.

I passed on New Belgium La Folie early today because it was over $15. Is it just me or did the price inflate since last year?

Ever since the Lost Abbey Angel’s Share debacle of 2008, I am very, very careful with anything over $30. Yes, Mr. Tomme Arthur, there are those of us who will never forget.

I don't really pay attention to price. My wyfe has a talent for picking great beer so I usually turn her loose. She doesn't drink, doesn't like beer at all, but has a very uncanny ability to pick some tasty choices.

    Unless it's a special/limited release, I don't like to go over $10.

$10 is the sweet spot for me. I know all the numbers of bombers vs 6/4 packs but there aren't a lot of beers I want to drink six of too often. Also, me and a good beer buddy typically split our bombers so that also helps justify it to myself as well. But if its a good beer or something I've wanted for a long time, I just buy it. It's only money.

I get 4 packs for $10-$12. And I think the $6 dollar limit is pretty standard - actually, $6.99. I paid that for NB Imperial Coffee Choc Stout. I would have purchased a few of NB's other Lips of Faith series, like the Quad which is great, had they not been priced at $8.99.

Oddly my limit on 750 mls is whatever makes sense depending on the beer and that tends to jump much higher.

Once I start getting into the higher teens I have to start to consider the price factor.

I dont have a limit per say but I try to gobble up all the 5 dollar and under bombers I can find. Not a ton to choose from for the most part but I found some good gems like Victory Helios for $ 4.19.
