Sours for Dummies Two Hints and Hauls

I was hoping to track down another sour want for my target before I ship, but alas those loons are elusive. I'll try to make up for my failure with another of his non-sour wants. I hope to pack up this weekend and ship early next week

As for my sender, I think I have it narrowed down to 5 possible

I'm going to go out on a limb and say there isn't somebody else from my little-ass town in this BIF and it's probably me. I'm out of town at the moment but should be home tomorrow and I will post the haul as soon as I get a chance.

 

Merc also hooked me up with some super swag today, thanks a bunch!

 

I had to send a swag box out for another BIF...never heard of ass clown, but just placed an order -- Thanks for the idea :-).

I was looking for something interesting.

 

Fujii better keep his big ass away from my box of sour awesomeness. Fuck, now I want to drive home instead of waiting until tomorrow.... Luckily my dad will bring the box inside so it should be safe.

 

Holy balls!!! I just got home a bit ago and opened everything. It took a while because there was a fuck-ton of awesome beer but I'll get the haul up with pics shortly

 

Huge, Huge thanks to Bjohnston for the awesome boxes of beer. He decided the 12 bottle shipper wasn't enough and had to send a second box with a growler and another bottle in it. I may not be able to walk right for a couple days after this one.

I was really floored by this the generosity of Brian (Bjohnston)... we should really change the name of this BIF because "Sours for Dummies" is quite a stretch.

Innuendobrewskiman63, enjoy the beers. The growler is from a local brewpub that currently doesn't bottle. They are making some really good beers. The growler is a beer called Tickle Me Ale-Mo (I think it's their third sour or wild ale).
Description of the beer from their website:

"Today’s episode is brought to you by the number fart and the letter fuck.

Starting with a solid, but not unusual, red ale, we threw in some acidulated malt to tang it up a bit. We then took the tang way over the edge by adding a lactobacillus starter that began metabolizing the sugars to leave lactic acid and other pleasant, tart compounds. We then added just enough hops to balance the remaining sugars, boiled the brew to kill the bacterial
inoculation, and fermented with ale yeast. Post-fermentation we added French oak spirals for aging. The result is a tangy, spicy, tannic, malty deliciousness that will make you very happy.

ABV: 7.9% IBU: 22.0"

Been crazy here the last couple weeks, planning on getting my box out this week. Sorry about the delay to my target. I will try to make it worthwhile. Having a hard time tracking down the wants I thought I could get, may have to call a last minute audible.

 

Looks like My target is getting more beer than planned. Might be the largest haul I have ever sent to one person (myself included). Holy Crap this is gonna do some serious damage.
