Thinking only of the payday I guess haha. The beer is not good by any means but I've had worse.

How Rheingold did not make this list I don't know. As a man of few drain pours, 2 total, I can't figure out how this was not #3. All I can remember is that I chased this beer with Wild Turkey to get it down. Mouthful of Reingold, shot of Wild Turkey. Rest of the night is still pretty vague......

I love how FFF somehow fucked up hardcore enough to make it on this list...

This just goes to show that bourbon barrel aging can screw up a great beer.

FFF made bully guppy so they have a beer in the top 25 for every possible list.

Black Marlin Porter w/ Chipolte, Cocoa Nibs & Orange from Ballast Point. Absolutely dreadful.

Wasn't Corona light the lowest rate beer for awhile? Way to go Corona, climbing up 12 spots!

I always found this list a little bit interesting. Most of those beers are not good and deserve to be low/on this list, but I find it interesting when some people rank a truely offensive craft beer higher than a beer that tastes like water/nothing, because it is craft beer vs. a BMC product or adjunct beer.

There's a brewpub near DC that had a Sour Pumpkin Porter last year. It literally tasted like dirt.

I can't believe there is a FFF beer towards the bottom

Tecate is in fact the worst beer on the planet. It actually should be disqualified from the running as it doesn't deserve to be called "beer".

BTW - If you want to find the fool in the room with the lowest IQ, look for the one drinking Tecate. This is a chump who will easily be coaxed into chasing a cat-toy out into traffic.

It was aged in Cognac barrels!

For whoever is shocked that Bully guppy is so high up, they clearly haven't had it. That's my number one worst beer ever. It was so bad that I had to drink the whole thing, because I was so intrigued at how terrible it was. Straight carbonated nail polish. Breweries fail on BA beers all the time, and that's fine, but I'm pretty sure they also charged around $20 for it which makes it worse.

The worst beer I have had (my ratings concur) is Mikkeller Black (Islay Edition). I would have given it a 0 if that was an option. I would much rather drink any macro beer than it.

I plan on drinking a bottle of this tonight. Didn't see any reviews on here for it, and if it's as bad as you say then I can understand why. Regardless if I like it or not, I'll review it and see how it is for myself.

then you have never tried this beer! I am about as big of a FFF fan boy as you can get and am in there 3-4 times per week but this beer is the worst beer I have ever tried to drink. I would rather drink bud light than that.

Coastal Fog IPA & Bayhawk Chocolate Porter. Horrible craft beers.

Which TX beers did you have in mind that aren't rated very high? I live in Ft Worth and even though Rahr and Sons gets a ton of love around here I'm just not that impressed. Austin is different entirely. I can't wait to go back for Live Oak and 512.

As far as my lowest rated favorite brew, it looks like the biggest discrepancy are a few that I have 5/5 but have an mid 80%. It's probably just a difference in preferences that accounts for that.

Southern Star's Old Potentate ... the Conroe brewing company that makes good beer generally speaking, but the four-pack of Old Potentate and I didn't get along.

Rahr & Sons' Stormcloud is good. I like it. And the blonde helles and Bucking Bock are OK, but you're night -- not impressive. I do like the Stormcloud, though.

(512)'s pecan porter automatically makes that one of my favorite breweries. Holy cow was that a good pint!
