Just thought I'd give you guys and gals a heads up that Molly's in Lancaster, PA currently has KBS for sale. $14 per bottle. It looked like they had a case total, so they probably won't last long. They just went on sale at 1:30pm today (5/13), and there was nobody there waiting for them. I just walked in and bought one.

Get em while they last, which probably won't be long.

I hope no one buys another bottle. That's a damn shame.

Wow, I could just get a breakfast stout and a nice shot of bourbon for less than that.

Looks like the OP can buy all he can afford. That's probably the highest I've ever heard of for KBS.

Sounds like most of Lancaster, overpriced for everything! If you're in Lancaster and want bottles at a reasonable price go to the Friendly Greek. If you want fresh drafts go to Spring House, end of story avoid the place that rhymes with ridge and most other greedy shops/bars.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I do know one thing: I won't be buying any. And I thought the ego-trip party at the place that rhymes with ridge was bad enough - $10 ticket for a 10oz pour from Lancaster's only keg.

10oz pour at Warwick Hotel: $7
    10oz pour at Shady McGrady's: $10
10oz pour at Federal Taphouse (HBG): $12 (limit one and lines were not clean...tasted really off)
    12oz bottle at Mollys: $14

    Makes perfect sense.

Why would someone brag about buying it at that price? I paid $5.49 for mine. Should have bought 3 :-)

    What a joke.

Molly's - noted to never shop there if in the area. Thanks, OP!

So you're saying with subtleness that the drafts @ the Fridge are Not fresh ?

I'm hoping next year that I can resist the urge to hunt for this beer again. It's great, but absolutely not worth the hassle.

    And 14 a bottle?!

    LOLZ

Next year, Founders should be available in Maryland for the KBS release. I'm already wondering what the Perfect Pour will sell it for. I'm guessing that after we see their pricing, $14 a bottle won't seem all that high any more. :-)

Highway robbery! Bought a 4 pack for $21 from a place I will continue to loyally support.

Will avoid this Molly's you speak of. It's only beer

7.75 gallon keg is 992 oz. at $10 / 10oz. that is a lot. I did read it was for 75 glasses total......meaning $750.00 sales from a 1/4 keg. What do ya think a 1/4 costs, as I would have no idea.
