Just got back from Wheat Ridge's (CO) newest member of the beer community. Opening night, and there were problems. POS system crashed (what's new. technology sucks), but was handled fairly well. 56 taps, not a bad line up. Stuff from Telluride and Tivoli, Prost and Elevation. I had the Tree Shaker and Dry Dock Ambassador. Place is bare, not much overhead, but a nice layout. Beer garden isn't small, but isn't big. Worth a look!
If they have Ambassador, that's a reason to go by itself...or at least to the Dock. That stuff is magic in a glass.
They should be pouring their own brews in about a months time. They've signed on Adam Draeger from the Yak & Yeti to brew for them.
Attended a preview party at C+ last week. Just posted some pics and a writeup on my site. http://brewtallyinsane.com/2013/05/15/coloradoplus/
Just got back from here. Really nice place with good decor. Decent tap list. I could tell they were working out some bugs, but everyone was eager to help. I shopped at Vern's when Eugene owned the place and I'm happy for him and his staff. I'll be a frequent visitor here, especially if Ambassador is on tap!
Shit, I may have to go there for lunch some time. That's pretty crazy that they'll be sharing brewers with Y&Y.
Just kidding, hell they could have Bugs Bunny for their logo for all I care. Just serve great beer is all I ask!! Might check this place out on Monday, during my regular 'Monday Denver trek'!
Was planning on checking it out tonight, but they are closed from 5-9 for a graduation party on their first Saturday open for business. I'll get there eventually.
Got there tonight. Nice joint. Worth checking out when you are in the Wheat Ridge area for sure. Had me some of that Walt Vleteren from Dry Dock. Nice to be able to do that closer to home.
