Does anyone know what the final bottle count was? Also, gotta give Swamp Head some credit, they ran the event well and it was very organized, though it didn't look like there was much to go around. The staff was great too.

I think about 300 of Roosevelt would be a good guess.

I think they said 300 were made of each but quick count of the boxes showed about 280 of the Roosevelt at the beginning of the day and about 320 of the 10-10-10.
And I second the overall cheers, things ran smoothly though there were about three times as many people in line as there were available beers.
They did change it to a one per person count which I guess was nice for more people to get beers but at the same time if I drove three hours to buy three bottles of beer and they then said I could only get one I would be a tad perturbed. Overall though I have to say I agree with their idea.

I think they should have done a headcount and figured out what the final allotment was going to be. It's not fair that the first 30 or so got their promised three bottles, then sharply diminish the allotment to 1. They really have to work on their logistics for releases.

I'm hearing one estimate placing it closer to 200.

I actually asked and it was just over 300 of each.

I felt bad for the guy who was told he could only buy 1 instead of 3 like the person in front of him. There were more people than there were allotments before things started at 4, so if they were going to change the limit they had ample time to do so before even selling the first bottle.

I'm sure they'll get it organized better for the next big release.

I got there at 2 and was 7th in line. I feel kinda bad that people didn't get any but what bottle release doesn't that happen at?

Was a really good time. Glad Ryan and I got there early to get our 3 of each. Have tried both and they are fantastic!

I heard 300 each, but when they pulled the 2 pallets in BA Roosevelt looked pretty low compared to 10 10 10.

One of the employees also dropped a case of Roosevelt as well so whatever was the actual number subtract twelve and there it is.

I know I'm new to beer advocate, but I can count. I was standing right next to the brewery as they brought the pallets at around 3. From what I saw, there were approximately 21 cases (252 bottles) of Roosevelt and 35+ cases (420 bottles) of 10-10-10. Obviously they might have held some cases back for employees but I believe those are reasonable estimates for what was sold to the public.

I arrived at 4PM and was only able to buy 2 10-10-10's. I was a bit disappointed, as I was hoping to score at least 1 BA Roosevelt. Luckily a nice BA who made it there plenty early (Thanks Will!) allowed me to purchase a bottle off him. I underestimated the number of bottles since they posted it was a 3 bottle limit, I figured they would have plenty. Changing the bottle limit 20-30 minutes into the release is a bit amateur though, and I wish they had the set lower # from the start or leave it at the original 3 bottle limit. It sucks to drive from out of town just to find out they changed things last minute. You win some and you lose some I guess.

Huge thanks to the guys at Swamphead! I have learned my lesson for next time...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they announce that arm bands would be handed out and then cut off once your bottle purchase was made. If they would have done so, they could have much more accurately distributed the Roosevelt to everyone that was in line. By my rough math i bet everyone would have got if they initially set the bottle limit at 2 per.

I doubt that if they had set it at 1per everyone would have got 1. Also when they opened the doors it didn't really seem like over 100 people. You can't expect to show up a few minutes before or right on time and get a limited bottle release right?

Never mind all that. I think that since i only got one and you got three, its only fair that you crack one at the bottle share...Just sayin:grinning:

I thought there would be more people in line when we got there at 1:30. Ended up the line didn't form until about 2:15 and really get busy till about 3pm. I think I was 5th through the door and first one to leave. Everything was smooth and well-organized while I was there, but apparently it got crazy from the facebook comments I'm reading.

Yeah, we arrived at about 2:40 and there were around 25 people in front of us. About twenty people after us was when it seemed like they started rationing.

We got there at about 230 ish and were sitting on the pallets that were against the building. Met some cool peeps from TALLY and evey once in a while a random bottle would be passed to us Can you say AWESOME!

When we made it through the door the guy with the hand counter was up to 54. When I was standing in line to get my bottles, I heard 2 of the guys talking, one was asking the guy taking the money to make an fing decision about cutting the allotment. Luckily he waited to make the decision until after I got mine.

I thought it was run very smoothly. As far as bottle count goes I asked the big guy in the blue shirt with the GINORMOUS beard and he said about 300 of each give or take.

It also seemed like most people that got in early did not buy the full allotment of 10 10 10. Not sure why, tried it on tap and is amazing.

10-10-10 was amazing on tap! And I asked the same guy the same question and got the same answer.
