Don't be judging my glassware, I'm in a hotel and am just thankfull that I don't have to use plastic, plus I don't want to get my new Lost Abbey teku dirty. I gotta drink whatever won't fit in my suitcase, hopefully it's just this one bomber or that 2:30AM alarm is going to come far too early.

There is such a thing as too much spice...this might be just over that line.

haven't listened to fall out boy in a ****'s age, but something reminded me of this song and the hilariousness that is this music video. it's like one of those movies where all the characters die by the end, but in this case the characters are animated woodland critters.

    Reviews after my trail ride:

Awesome as always, just never reviewed it. Totally spot on, balanced, and flavorful.

This nearly beats out Urbock for me. The aromas are huge, balanced, and complex with a wide smokey note profile with some nice caramel/bready malts. So damn awesome.

A Belgian from FFF? I'm up for it. Damn this is so good. Moderate tropical/peach fruitiness with normal Belgian yeast ester notes; lightly floral and spicy with a nice malt backbone. Really damn well done.

dissertation successfully proposed, grant submitted, and daughter learned how to walk today. as a friend said, everyone's taking a step in the right direction. decided to see how this bad boy was doing (a bit nervous, given some of the reviews). verdict: not bad, but i've brewed belgian strong ales that tasted just like this (a bit much on the acetaldehyde and booze, at least on my bottle). still, nice to sip on for an evening.
