Does anyone have details on what the 17th Anniversary beer will be?

I have not heard but I would love to try it. I liked the 16th for all of its super citrus-y goodness.

Would that be the Stone RuinTen IPA that they just announced on Facebook?

I doubt it. We had Ruination 10th Anniversary and Stone 16th Anniversary last year

I know, right. I was looking and it appears they have only brewed one(listed on BA as a Euro Dark Lager). A change of pace would be nice.

Just make it a Citra/Galaxy single hop and watch it sell out before it leaves the trucks.

I actually agree, they do need a change of pace, but a lager will never happen. I personally loved the Bitter Oatmeal Chocolate Stout they did....I think it was the 13th? Great beer, great change of pace. In fact, I think I still have one in my cellar.

How can you do a single hop with two hops?

Knowing stone it will be an Imperial Coffee IPA with oranges added or something like that.

I wish they would do a barrel aged IRS.

That was the 12th Anniversary Beer. In fact, just picked up a bottle of it at K&B by SDSU 2 weeks ago. They have been cellaring it and released a few into the wild.
