Siberian Night has been my go-to stout for years. It is reasonably priced, highly drinkable, and the brewery just happens to be 20 minutes from my house. They have made the BA version for a couple of years, but never bottled it... until now! It is always delicious and really transforms the regular Siberian Night into a world-class stout.

I've been tracking this baby since I found out it would receive the bottle treatment a few months back. It should be available at the brewery next week and will be going out to their regular distributors thereafter. It will be limited, so be on the look out!

Yeah, that BA Siberian Night is great stuff. Thanks for the heads up!

The Siberian Night with their Orthus yeast is pretty great as well.

Did not know this... Any idea on how limited or how long they will produce it?

I remember reading in Great Lakes Brewing News that it was supposed to be released in 4pks, along with BA Wee Heavy.. but that was a long time ago.. good stuff though I've always wanted to see how it would age..

Whenever I get myself up there I'll try to find out more specifics.

I'll have plenty of this as long as there's no limit at the brewery. Send me a BM if you want, but it will be a couple of months until I can start a new trade.

Hell ya bottles! I'm so excited.

Nice, thanks for the heads up! I work in Akron so I'll be picking up a bunch for sure. The regular Siberian is great stuff.

I will definitely pick this up.

Considering BA Blackout Stout is $9 per 12oz bottle...yeah

I got some news and pictures. Every one loves pictures! The person I spoke to yesterday was slightly wrong. Today I went there and I spoke to some one in charge and I already forgot his name (I only remember faces). It will be released at some point next week at the brewery (most likely Wednesday), but no exact date and time. It sounds like it won't be leaving the brewery until the following week. They were incredibly busy, so I didn't want to bother them too much. I'm not really sure how limited it is :[

They actually had some of the first bottles (4 packs) sitting on a table. The BA Siberian Night was sitting next to the BA Wee Heavy which was a surprise! I guess they have been aging both of these. It was hard as fuck to take the pictures without being able to have one. Here are some pictures of the BA Siberian Night, but I did not take any of the BA Wee Heavy.

Well, I guess a quick trip downtown is in order for me next week. Although anytime I step foot in that place it's not quick.

Had it on-draft a few years ago. Really a top notch beer. Hopefully it will see some distribution in NE.

Had it at a Shangy's tap takeover in Northeast PA Wednesday Night for the first time. Tasty, indeed!

I'll definitely be grabbing some. Always wanted to try it, but it's usually $12-14 for a 12 oz pour on draft which is a bit steep.

By regular distributors, do you mean outside of Ohio as well? If you happen to know. Thanks.

I pray this makes it to Toledo. This is one I've hoped would be bottled for a long time.

Over the phone this week, I was told it would be outside of Ohio too. Sadly, when I went there today I did not ask the guy in charge about distribution. He was super busy and I felt awkward even trying to ask him anything. I was mainly there trying to get 1 bottle for a box I'm shipping out on Monday. I guess I don't really have a definite answer for you since I don't trust the worker over the phone 100%. I suck :[

When I go back there next week, I will clear this up! Sorry for the confusion.
