True that.
In Suffolk, one case had to be split between 3 stores (only 4 bottles per store!) - meanwhile I see posts with California folks taking home a case at a pop!
For the record: I got two bottles about 10 days apart through patience and persistence (and years of patronage paying off, too, no doubt).
Drank the first one before I knew how brutally limited this was gonna be. It was one of the best BBA stouts I've ever had. Then I was positively obsessive about getting my hands on another one. So glad I was able to do so.

 

High-quality beer-drinking this weekend - and something new and local just for the hell of it.

• My second haul with a Parabola - the last I'll see of it, too.
• Frenzied, I also grabbed a Gnomegang and a Curieux (it was all I could do not to buy Doom, too).
• Needed something new for New Beer Sunday, but there was nothing inspirational - saw this Long Island Potato Stout - hey, its local (like, 15-20 minutes away local), and I really liked his Vlad the Inhaler, so despite the cellar-dweller abv of 3.9, I figured I'd give it a try.

Got a bottle of Great Divide's 19th Anniversary Ale in the fridge already.

 

Woah that sounds interesting. Thoughts?

 

they've been brewing it for a while now but i believe this is the first time its being bottled. its not bad at all, probably the best thing they do. which i know isn't saying much haha
