    Doing a Pappy, Buffalo Trace, and Apple Brandy Black Magick Horizontal...

    Pappy is far and away the best of the bunch and easily one of the best imperial stouts I've ever had.

    It's definitely better than Night Stalker, but it's just not in the upper tier of non-BA imperial stouts. If this is the base beer for BCBS (just with added nibs), I'm amazed at how much magic those barrels work.

    I french pressed some coconut and cocoa nibs into Palo Santo Maron, and all I can say is WOW. I didn't expect something so simple would taste so good. I may try it again with vanilla beans and coconut.

    Having this, dated 11/7/2012. It's a bit cooler with some rain tonight. Probably my last BA Imperial Stout of the year. I'm looking forward to breaking out the remaining ones in Oct/Nov of this year.
